Discover Trapani

Trapani is a city in western Sicily with a crescent coast. At the western tip, overlooking the Egadi Islands, there is the Torre di Ligny watchtower, dating back to the 17th century, which houses the Museum of Prehistory and Marine Archeology. North of the port, the Church of Purgatory preserves wooden sculptures that parade through the city during the Procession of the Mysteries at Easter.
